When is enough enough?
How much should I do?
Will I know when to stop?
Probably all rhetorical questions. In recent weeks the question has consistently raised itself in my mind. “How much is enough?”
Am I doing enough to keep in touch with people? Is the amount of exercise I’m doing enough? Is the mix of work and play about right? Am I reading or learning enough?
Sometimes the answer is instinctive. You just know.
Invariably we feel as though we could have done more don’t we, but if we do “enough” then perhaps that is enough?
Speaking of instinct, doesn’t the picture above tell the story of “instinct”?
A child keeps getting up and trying again – until the job is done , or in this case until the skill is learned.
Are you doing enough?
Trust your instincts.
